Where do we meet?Our rental address is 750 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver at the marina of Plaza of Nations. However, if you get lost, text to 778-883-5077 for more helps.

Is there a restroom on board?Yes, our years of experience have given us a thorough understanding of customer needs. Our boats are equipped with a restroom, featuring a flushing toilet (with a 100% environmentally friendly sewage tank onboard). However, for comfort considerations, we recommend all passengers to use the restroom before embarking on the journey.

How do I prepare for my trip?We recommend bringing food, snacks, drinks, utensils, and cutlery to enjoy our onboard BBQ. We provide the BBQ, propane and cooler; guests should bring ice and bbq tools/tongs (due to safety and health concern, we don't provide tongs). We also suggest bringing outerwear for chillier days, medication for seasickness if needed, as well as sunscreen and sunglasses for sun protection. And most importantly, bring your wonderful spirit to join the trip!

Is there a Liability Waiver for us to sign?Yes, every person boarding our boats must complete and sign their own Liability Waiver. You will receive a copy of it with your confirmation email. You can also print it from here: Liability Waiver.

May we take a “rain check” if the weather becomes terrible?A light drizzle won’t hold you back from going out, after all it is Vancouver and our boat come with sunshine bimini for your use. However, if heavy rainfall or strong wave does happen you will be able to reschedule to another date.

Do you provide safety equipment? Do you provide life jackets for children?We provide life jackets and all the safety equipments required from the Transport Canada. We also have life jackets for children who are aged four (4) and older, also younger child. In order to provide the life jackets properly, please let us know if you have children passengers.

Can We Swim?Yes, our professional captain will select a suitable and safe area for anchoring, shut off the engine, and then you can fully enjoy the ocean and its waves. We provide life jackets for every passenger to ensure your safety. Please notify us at the time of booking if you would like to swim, so we can arrange the optimal route for you.

What are the fuel costs?Unlike other boat rental companies, we do not charge extra fuel costs.

Do you have music on board?Yes, all our boats come equipped with stereo systems that connects to all devices via Bluetooth.

Are we allowed to dock the boat somewhere to pick someone up?Boat docking is NOT allowed for any pick up or drop off. All renters must stay on board until arrival back at the departure location on Plaza of Nations.

Do we drive it ourselves?We provide experienced captain.

Is food provided or do we bring our own?You bring and cook your own food. That way you’re free to BBQ it exactly the way you prefer it.

Can we drive the boat ourselves if we have a boating license?Due to increased damages to boats and to ensure everyone’s safety, our policy has changed to providing professional commercial captains for our guests. The benefits of this change is that it will make guest experiences much more pleasant and safer allowing you to enjoy the scenery, use the BBQ, and not worry about driving our luxurious pontoons in areas you are unfamiliar with.

Due to high volume of calls and bookings, our employees are busy providing our customers assistance or on the other line. Do you provide ice?No, we provide coolers but not ice.

How long is rental time?The minimum booking time period is 2 hours. However, as everyone's safety is our number one priority, you must attend the 5 minute safety training at the beginning of your rental. For example, if you're booked for the 6:00 pm sailing, you will spend from 6:00 to 6:05 going over the safety training before you are allowed to take the boats. The following hours are yours to spend on the water. If you are late for the training, the time is subtracted from your rental.

What’s your cancellation policy?There are no refunds on bookings cancelled within 7 days of your rental date. You receive an 80% refund for cancellations prior to 7 days of rental date. There are no refunds or cancellations on Holiday reservations. We provide flexibility for reschedule, please contact with us prior to 3 days of rental date.

May we toss food scraps and garbage over the side?Absolutely NOT. Pollution of any kind will not be tolerated. As an environmentally conscious company we hold a strict penalty (punishable by law) against polluting our waters. We are here to protect and nurture our natural environment; after all, this is the only planet we have. But we provide garbage bag for you. Also, we have a large dumpster conveniently located right next to our dock, making waste disposal incredibly easy.

How many people can we fit in a boat?The maximum capacity is 10 passengers, excluding our professional captain. If you bring along a furry four-legged friend, it counts as one passenger. Fewer passengers mean more spacious areas and a more comfortable experience onboard.

Is there parking at the Sea Sky Boat Rental?Yes, there is paid metered parking in the surrounding area as well as paid Indigo parking, Parking of Plaza of Nations.

How many boats do you have available?We currently have 3 Pontoon BBQ Boats available for your fun adventures! That means you can have a BBQ Regatta for up to 30 people; Imagine!

Is there a BBQ on the boat?Yes, all our luxury pontoons offer a Propane BBQ Grill. We recommend hot dogs or simple BBQ items to avoid flareups.
